"The Dark Knight Rises" (2012) is the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. The movie is set eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, where Gotham City is relatively peaceful thanks to the Dent Act, a law inspired by the fallen Harvey Dent to eradicate organized crime. However, Bruce Wayne (Batman), played by Christian Bale, has become a reclusive figure, emotionally and physically broken by his previous battles.
